Craniosacral Therapy
(CRT) is also known as cranial balancing, cranial osteopathy, cranial sacral manipulation, or craniopathy. It involves a gentle massage of the bones in the craniosacral system, which includes but not limited to the skull (including face and mouth), pelvis and spine to ease the stress on the body and improve physical movement.
Research shows and believes there is a link between the fluid in the head and sacrum (lower back) and the fluid that flows between these two areas can be detected like a pulse. The purpose of CRT is to normalize, balance and eliminate blockages or obstructions in various systems throughout the body so it can function in a healthy method and alleviate negative effects on the central nervous system.
Sessions last about thirty minutes to an hour. It involves a light tough by the therapist, no more than the weight of a nickel.
